This may prove a problem for some who want something right on the doorstep, however, we drove there on the first evening and walked back ( 50 minutes ). The nearest pub for food & drink was 'The Singing Pub', 3 miles away. We brought our bicycles with us and this was an excelent way to see the Rosguill Peninsula. Some of the previous reviews of this place were quite unkind and we couldn't understand them because we loved it. Heather ( and her family/friends ) was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic, but very clean & tidy. The accommodation is a set of converted fishermens cottages and we were in one completely separate from the main house ( where breakfast is served a small bar for the evenings large TV loads of interesting maps/fishing memorabilia and internet access ). We stayed here 10th & 11th June 2011 and loved it.
